With a heavy heart, I am offering my mare Joy for sale, together with her foal Meau. Joy was born on May 3, 2010. I purchased her from the breeder as a yearling, and she has been in my possession ever since. Together, we found our way into the sport of reining. In 2017, Joy and I experienced our highlight by competing at the FEI World Championships for Young Riders in Switzerland. Joy was successfully shown in reining competitions until 2024. She has always given her all in both competitions and training, consistently putting in 110%. Despite this, we now consider her no longer suitable for competitive sport. Joy has had a total of three foals. She was inseminated using both fresh and frozen semen, and each time she conceived on the first or second attempt. All pregnancies and deliveries were without complications. We consider Joy to be a good and caring mother—protective of her foal, yet allowing people to admire her youngster. Joy is 5-panel N/N, and due to Meau’s early birth, she can still be bred again this year. Currently, Joy is still with her foal at her side. Meau was born on March 11, 2026, and is a son of Zannatrashya, who is 7-panel N/N. As both parents are free from the tested genetic diseases, Meau is also considered clear. Although Meau is still very young, he already shows himself to be a confident and curious foal who enjoys exploring. When you sit in the pasture, he quickly comes over to see who you are and what you are doing. His pedigree includes several leading sires such as Gunnatrashya, Colonels Smoking Gun, Wimpys Little Step, Hollywood Dun It, and Playgun. Based on his inquisitive nature and bloodlines, Meau has the potential to become an excellent reining or cutting horse in the future.
